What to see and do in Marrakech ?

Marrakech, the tourist capital of Morocco, is just over two hours flight from Europe and is home to over a million souls.
The tourist who discovers this medieval Medina surrounded by earth-colored ramparts, enveloped by the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas, shaping their silhouettes in the distance, cannot help but be enthused by the magic that nature invites you to, and admire the contrast offered by the most beautiful palm grove in Morocco.

The Koutoubia, with its 70 meters high, and the famous Jemaa El Fna Square are the pride of the inhabitants of the Red City, numerous “Bab” (gates) open all along the nineteen kilometers of ramparts that surround the Medina.
The Bahia Palace (Palace of Beauty) was built at the end of the 19th century. This huge palace is a masterpiece of Arabic-Andalusian architecture. The Dar Si Said Museum is a wonderful residence that houses a very beautiful Moroccan museum in which one can admire carpets, jewelry and weapons from different periods.

You will also visit the magnificent Ben Youssef coranic school, the Saadian tombs, and the El Badi Palace.

The souks are magnificent and in a labyrinth of small streets, many artisans work. You wander from one shop to another among the colorful blankets and carpets and among the spice stalls with oriental scents, protected from the sun by wooden trellis.
In Marrakech’s Jewish quarter, the Mellah, you will find the best jewelers.

Guéliz was created under the French protectorate.
It is the new city connected to the Medina by Boulevard Mohamed V with its shops where you can buy leather clothes and shoes at interesting prices.
The Royal Theater and the El Harti Gardens as well as the Majorelle Garden are located in the Guéliz district.
A little away from the city you will find the Agdal gardens and, near the airport, those of Menara.

It is also wonderful golf courses that make it an ideal place for a golf stay.
