\nTraditional markets gather a large part of Moroccan craftsmanship… carpets, leather goods, spices, fabrics, jewelry, teapots, traditional clothing, etc.

\n\n2 – Jemaa el-Fna Square<\/b>
\nListed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Jemaa el-Fna Square is above all the most famous square in Marrakech. Located in the heart of the medina, it is an animated meeting place both day and night!\n

\n3 – Koutoubia Mosque<\/b>
\nBuilt in the 12th century, the Koutoubia Mosque with its characteristic architecture of Marrakech is in the heart of the medina, it is one of the largest mosques in Morocco, and its minaret can be seen from up to 30 kilometers away.\n

\n4 – The Majorelle Garden<\/a><\/b>
\nIt is a botanical garden where a mini arboretum, gathering many varieties of palm trees, cacti and bamboo, lotus ponds… all on a tone of intense blue paint… it was created by Jacques Majorelle, a French orientalist artist, in 1923, and its development took place over nearly 40 years.\n

\n5 – The Yves Saint Laurent Museum<\/a><\/b>
\nOpened in 2017 next to the Majorelle Garden, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum is dedicated to the life and work of the French fashion designer and his particular love for everything Moroccan… sketches, clothing, and objects covering his 40-year career that show how the city inspired him.
\nThis museum is located in one of the most remarkable buildings in the city, next to a magnificent caf\u00e9-garden, a library, a temporary exhibition hall and an auditorium.\n

\n6 – The Almoravides Dome<\/b>
\nDating back to the 12th century, it is the oldest listed building in Marrakech. Sometimes difficult to discover as it is half-hidden by the buildings that surround it.\n

\n7 \u2013 The Bahia Palace (Palace of Beauty)<\/a> <\/b>
\nBuilt in 1860 with no less than 160 rooms and 3 hectares of gardens. Every room and every courtyard are decorated with elaborately colored mosaics, marbles, sculptures and paintings.
\nIt is truly one of the most beautiful things to see in Marrakech.\n

\n8 – The House of Photography<\/a><\/b>
\nExhibition of old Moroccan photographs of the landscapes of Morocco and the lifestyle of its inhabitants between 1870 and 1950 that will allow you to delve into the local traditions and customs of Morocco.
\nThe roof-top caf\u00e9 is also one of the highest in the medina, with one of the best views of the city.\n

\n9 – The Marrakech Museum<\/a><\/b>

jewelry, ironwork, ceramics, embroidery…

\n10 – The El Badi\u00ee Palace<\/a><\/b>
\nThe El Badi\u00ee Palace may be a ruin today, but it offers a fascinating glimpse into the power and wealth of past Moroccan dynasties.\n

\n11 – The Saadian Tombs<\/a><\/b>
\nThis remarkable place is the final resting place of Sultan Ahmed al Mansour (the same who built El Badi\u00ee) as well as nearly 200 of his relatives.
